Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan has released a guideline pertaining to "Gated Community" and "Guarded Neighbourhood". This document provides an understanding on the matter and also provide what is permissible and what is not. Communities in Bukit Jelutong that wish to enhance the security of their precints should understand the document.

MBSA have appointed independent contractors to deal with the matter. Meanwhile, residents are advised to call the MBSA hotline to inform them which area require rubbish collection.

BJRA have received numerous complaints about uncollected rubbish. The rubbish collection in Bukit Jelutong has apparently ceased since 1st January. MBSA informed BJRA that this is because of ongoing negotiations/discussion between MBSA and the contractors. Alam Flora is no longer involved in rubbish collection in Bukit Jelutong since 1st September 2011. The rubbish collection is now undertaken directly by MBSA through their soon-to-be assigned contractors.

The regular recycling day for Bukit Jelutong residents will resume as follows:

Satu program cuti sekolah yang dianjurkan oleh Masjid Bukit Jelutong. Program ini terbuka kepada semua remaja Bukit Jelutong dan berlangsung setiap hujung minggu dari 4pagi hingga 11pagi pada sepanjang bulan Disember. Semua remaja dan warga Bukit Jelutong dialu-alukan menyertai program ini .

I begin as always with my thanks: to the residents of Bukit Jelutong who believe that I am the next-best person to lead BJRA, after the outgoing President Encik Ariffin Buranudeen; to the 2010-2011 Committee led by Encik Ariffin for all their efforts in the past year and more; and to the 2011-2012 Committee who so graciously accepted the invitation to join me in serving our community We have inherited a well-run, financially strong and well-respected organisation, which makes our task that much easier.

The 11th BJRA Annual General meeting was concluded on Sunday, 9th October 2011 at the Dewan Guthrie. The meeting recorded an attendance of 48 registered members. The meeting was officially called to order by the Secretary at approximately 2:50pm.

BJRA had invited Sime Darby to give an update on the refurbishing/ugrading works currently being carried out at the BJ football field. The meeting was attended by a representative of Sime Darby, President and Vice President of Club Athletico De BJ (CABJ), two residents in their personal capacity and BJRA committee members.  The meeting was held at 8:30pm, on Wednesday 5th October at the BJRA Secretariat.
