Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) is embarking on a waste separation project for Shah Alam. Bukit Jelutong was selected to participate in the project. It will begin with Jalan Adang and Jalan Bidai areas for Phase One. It will gradually be expanded to cover other areas of Bukit Jelutong. During the first phase, a total of 300 houses will participate.
Sime Darby Property, Sime Darby Football Club (SDFC) and the Bukit Jelutong Residents Association (BJRA) joined hands to the joy of footballing kids, and their dads. The event aptly called "Customer 1st Football Carnival" on Saturday 13th June, brought together more than 70 children (including a couple of girls) from around the Bukit Jelutong township for a full-day of fun football activities.
After 5 years of dedicated work to the community of Bukit Jelutong, Tn. Insp. Mohd. Azan Radzali will be leaving Balai Polis Bukit Jelutong for a better future. In recognition of his excellent services and policing of Bukit Jelutong, the community decided to give him a warm farewell. Organised by Dato' Azmi Abdullah of BJ Rangers, and supported by MPP 19 and BJRA, a small farewell dinner was held on 28th April for Tn. Azan.
Golfing enthusiasts of Bukit Jelutong descended upon Amverton Cove Golf and Island Resort at Pulau Carey on 19th April 2015, in full force and all their glory. Over 100 golfers, all residents of Bukit Jelutong, bundled in their Vellfires and SUVs at the crack of dawn to participate in the first ever “Bukit Jelutong Inter-Precint Golf Tournament”.
On 28th March 2015, BJRA organised an English Camp at the SKBJ. This would be the third time the English Camp is organised. The Camp is designed to assist schoolchildren who require added effort to master the language. Coordinated by Datin Sivamani and Dr. Zainab, both long-term serving BJRA committee members, the Camp was attended by 48 students.

The community of Jalan Titian gathered on 17th January 2015, for a community get together. Partly for the New Year's celebration, partly for the successful completion of the perimeter fencing and new signage, but mostly to celebrate the camaraderie that has been fostered through many years as good neighbours.
BJRA recently organised a meeting with Sime Darby Property and Precint Heads. All Precint Heads and/or their representatives were invited to the meeting. The meeting was mainly to provide a platform for Sime Darby Property to inform the Precint Heads of initiatives they are considering making based on the feedback that has been provided to them over the past few months. BJRA had initiated various meetings with Sime Darby Property and Precint Heads separately with regards to strengthening security of Bukit Jelutong as a whole.
