Awesome Turnout ! The force of Bukit Jelutong residents were clearly seen over the weekend. They came from all corners of Bukit Jelutong to enjoy the two-day carnival, which was specially organised for the residents, by the residents. A big thank you to the residents, and not forgeting the invaluable support from the main partners Telekom Malaysia and Sime Darby Properties.MBSA field visit with BJRA and MPP 19 A field visit was conducted on 30th April involving MBSA, BJRA, MPP19 and Sime to learn first-hand the issue facing residents of Bukit Jelutong. The team conducted the visit from 11:00am to 4:30pm and covered all areas of Bukit Jelutong.Road humps along Persiaran Gerbang Utama Residents may have noticed (or felt), the new road humps constructed along Persiaran Gerbang Utama. Construction of the new road humps is borne by Sime Darby at the requests of residents of Bukit Jelutong. Lagenda 2 residents protests On Sunday, 19th April, about 50 residents of Lagenda 2 conggregated at the BJRA Secretariat for a meeting with BJRA. The meeting was to explain their concerns over a proposed plan by Sime to build a high-rise apartment close to Lagenda 2.SMS on kidnapping Last week many residents received SMS (text messages) on their phone with a message that mentioned kidnapping of a boy in Kubah by 4 men in a Proton Satria. We have contacted the police and...BJ Carnival 2009 It's back! The famous BJ Carnival is back ! Bigger than before. TWO days, yes, you read that right. Two days of carnival for the peopl of Bukit Jelutong. Date: 30 to 31 May 2009 Venue : D' Bayu (near the football field) Pondok Polis Bukit Jelutong On 7th March 2009, marks another history for Bukit Jelutong. The Pondok Polis Bukit Jelutong is officially opened. It was officiated by the Datuk Bandar of Shah Alam.
