Dengue cases are on the rise. Please do not take this warning lightly. Selangor has recorded the highest dengue cases in the country. 30% of the cases in Selangor are from Shah Alam.

The BJRA AGM was concluded just now (5:00pm, 13th December 2008). As usual, the caring and enthusiastic BJRA members came to attend the AGM this time held at Tadika Bahtera Ilmu, mainly because the hall at Sime Properties office has been converted to other usage.

Shafira does Bukit Jelutong proud

She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of two and a half years, but nine-year-old Shafira Mohd Zairi is coping well and excelling in what she loves to do.

Recently, the Year Three pupil of SK Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, won an international writing and art competition organised by healthcare company Roche and walked away with 5,000 euros (RM23,600).

 

President's address

2007 and 2008 for BJRA has been seen as a “quiet”’ year with not many activities visible. The term started off with the opening of Pengkalan Bit Polis in Jalan Serambi and followed by the establishment of Pondok Polis Komuniti in Jalan Birai.

 

BJRA signs MOU with MACRI

BJRA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with th Malaysian Association of Creativity and Innovation. The MOU was formalised on Saturday, 25th October 2008.
