Fitness on Sundays at D'Bayu

The Sunday Fitness community exercise program will be on as usual this weekend:

Come and join the fun getting fit!
Certified intstructors will be leading the exercise.

Looks like Bukit Jelutong is making waves in the newspapers. It was reported that an integrated commercial property will be undertaken to the tune of RM1billion. The project is located near or opposite Sime Darby Pavillion.

 

 

Bukit Jelutong braces for High-Speed Broadband

Bukit Jelutong has been selected as one of the four pilot areas in the country for the roll-out of High-Speed Broadband by Telekom Malaysia. How fast? How about in excess of 15Mbps ? Streamyx is now 2Mbps, at best. Before you start buying boxloads of new hardisk, the service will only start around mid 2010, but the infrastructure is being laid down right now.

 

State Assemblyman meets residents

State Assemblyman, YB Yaakob Sapari today met with resident representatives of Bidai, Ubin and Birai to discuss and find a solution to the long-standing issues faced by them.

 

 

1st Bukit Jelutong Precint Reps meeting

BJRA organised the 1st Bukit Jelutong Precint Reps meeting on 20th January 2010. This is in view that all precints are now populated and the number of residents have increased over the years. Although it was the first of such meeting, the attendance was very encouraging.

Let's turn Bukit Jelutong greener than green.  Every third Sunday of the month, you can bring in your recycling items to be, well...recycled.

A resident's house was broken into and a few items were stolen. The thieves entered by cutting the grille at the back.

 

 

Councillor tours Bukit Jelutong

The new MPP19 (Majlis Perwakilan Penduduk), Dr. Daroyah Alwi, accepted an invitation by BJRA to tour the community on 7th of December. Dr. Daroyah was taken around the Bukit Jelutong area especially in areas where issues have been raised.

 

 

Rumah selamat semasa Raya

It's that time of year again. We expect BJ folks we'll start packing and begin their exodus next week. However, in your haste to enjoy your holiday, don't forget to ensure the safety of your house. BJRA, Polis DiRaja Malaysia and Homeguards have collaborated to help keep an eye on your house.
