Good news y'all. Sime Darby has finally unveiled the conceptual design for the long awaited Bukit Jelutong Clubhouse. The yet-to-be-named facility in our neighbourhood will most probably start construction by third-quarter of this year.


The proposed location is at the BJ field. At the opposite end of D'Bayou to be exact. The clubhouse will be equipped with a gym, club lounge, one futsal court, two tennis court, one swimming pool (length to be confirmed), one amphitheater and one F&B outlet.

After looking at the proposed site it appears that the clubhouse will encroached into the basketball court. Hope that the basketball court will not have to give way to the Club house.It should be an appendage to the Club.

SDB should force residents to cycle to the club house instead of driving there...
And as usual...maintainence of the clubhouse is important!

I would love to have a really well planned locker room with a steamroom and sauna. It would be an added bonus for towel services! I can't wait!

I believe the best way for it to be well maintained if it was run as a business.
Was it mentioned who will be running the place?

I second the additional squash courts and the olympic sized swimming pool. Have separate pools for kiddies and casual swimmers. With excellent execution, there must also be excellent maintenance to upkeep the place.

Just wondering about the parking facilities, would they encroach onto the orchard or football field? Surely MBSA would impose certain minimum no. of car parking lots. Hope to see the proper layout plan with access n exit roads as well.
